Why use eye primer?

Here are some swatches of the same eyeshadow with and without primer. You can buy primer from $1 to like $40. I used the $1 ELF eye primer. Take a look! The eyeshadow is an ELF custom single.

Number 1 has primer, Number 2 doesn't. It stayed on a lot longer too!
Hey! Ok, so I am going to be comparing 5 drugstore eyeliners. From the bottom up: revlon colorstay creme pencil, eyeliner, nyx pencil liner, wet n wild coloricon pencil liner, the jordana fabuliner liquid eyeliner, and the wet n wild gel liner in black.

Here are the swatches. The left is the revlon colorstay and the right is the wet n wild gel liner. They are in the same order as in the picture.
After letting them set, I rubbed across ten times each. You can see that the revlon colorstay was the best, the jordana liquid liner was medium, and the wet n wild gel liner stayed on okay. The rest completely were rubbed away.

Hope you enjoyed!

Lip Gloss!

These are the ELF Super Glossy lip glosses in, from left to right, Fanatic, Ruby Slipper, Supermodel, and Seattle.

Yes, I know. Lots of pictures and swatching. I love these glosses on special occasions. They have a decent staying power and I find that they aren't too sticky and aren't too much of a liquid. I love the unique colors and for just one U.S. dollar, these are a great buy! :) Found at the drugstore.

Black Friday Shopping!

Even though Black Friday has come and passed, I decided to do a post dedicated to it. Here you will find find what to wear, where to look, and much more!

What to wear!
Girls: Wear shorts and slip on shoes. DO NOT WEAR LACE-UP SHOES! This will help you change faster and save tons of time. On top, wear a crop top or a t-shirt, but be sure to have a tank top underneath, in case you try on a low-cut shirt and want to know how it looks with a tank.
Girls in Winter: Wear jeans and boots without any zippers or laces. Sadly, I must recommend UGGs. I hate UGGs. North Face jackets are always nice.
Guys: In summer, wear shorts and a t-shirt and flip flops, in winter wear jeans and a t-shirt and flip flops, just throw on a jacket.

"Wear" to look: Always look in the corner of the stores, because this is where you will find the pieces that nobody else has, especially if you are in the big-time stores like Forever 21, Norstroms, Target, etc.

It's okay to splurge!

Since this is such a great time of year what with all the sales, it's okay to spend a little bit more than usual. Just be sure to only buy things that you absolutely need, won't be found anywhere else, or are on a ridiculous sale!

Enjoy your holiday shopping!

This top is so simple and can be paired in so many different ways! (It's from American Eagle)

LBDs!

LBDs (little black dresses) are a closet must. They can be worn to a party, dinner, dress day at school, and so many other things. The great thing about them is that you don't absolutely HAVE  to invest a lot of money in one. Just take this one from forever 21! It's only $25 and it's super cute. Here's the link to it: Forever 21. It can be pared with so many accessories and sweaters and even tops to make it look like a skirt, that you can make it look like you have so many more dresses than you do!
